Second Circuit will use NIST SP 800-88 Revision 2, Guidelines for Media Sanitization, as the standard for its data destruction and media sanitization service.
The guidelines address choosing an appropriate sanitization approach for the media and the information it holds. Specific supported media, equipment, procedures and reporting details will be added once confirmed.
